75hz monitor vs 60hz

Is 60fps on games in a 75hz monitor smoother than 60fps on 60hz monitor?

 

 

Edit: Ok so I think people are not getting my idea.What I mean is if im gonna be playing for example tekken 7 which is locked at 60fps and cannot go any higher will playing it on a 75hz monitor be smoother than a 60hz monitor?

Theoretically, higher framerates are smoother.

The 75Hz monitor would be better at 75fps than the 60hz monitor at 75Hz, but its all relative based on human perception. 

Some people swear by high refresh rate, and some people don't really like it.

if you can reach 60 fps you can probably reach 75 too, 75Hz is a noticable improvement over 60Hz to my eyes so if i have the choice i would ofc go for it

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Surely 60Hz is 60Hz, it'll look the same whether it's on a 60 or 75Hz monitor - presuming the other specs are the same anyway
