1st Gaming build did I choose the right GPU, RAM & Cooling

Could use some help, I have built PCs form Office for past 15 years, just starting to game on PC, I am building system form my adult son, we play PUBG on Xbox but want to move to PC, I am building twin systems.

1. what did I forget, did I choose something wrong, any advice would be great.

2. I mounted a 4X ACOG scope (not trijicon) on red metal “strip” I cleaned out inside of scope and filled with a led strip Corsair, any ideas on a better way to light up scope? Or accent it.

evga 850 gold

MSI Z390-E

i9 9900K

4X ACOG Scope (bought on amazon - knock off) wrapped LED strip on inside of scope

if you didnt buy the GPU's (why im assuming there is *** before them) don't buy them now. i would say either a high end model of the 2060, a vega 56/64 non blower, or a 2080. avoid the 2070. useless tier. the 1070ti is now useless to buy new if you can afford the 2080. and its useless as the 2060 does the same performance for less.

Gonna disagree with TH3R34P3R.

 

The 1070Ti is a fine card so long as you can purchase it for a good price. If you are paying the same or less as you would a 2060, you're good. The 1070Ti sits somewhere between the 2060 and 2070 in terms of performance (which the 1070Ti was just a slightly neutered GTX 1080)

so far it seems really not balanced - 9900k and 32gb of ram, then just 1070ti?

I'll agree with Neftex. Seems oddly CPU-heavy for a gaming rig. I'd recommend dropping to a 9600k and 16gb of RAM if you plan on sticking with a 1070ti (can even upgrade the GPU at that point). 

That is, unless you're trying to play games at 720p 500 FPS, then you probably need the 9900k to handle the load, but.. Why would you do that?
