Screen Tearing with gsync enable and vsync disable

Hello, i have gsync enable on my freesync monitor: 27UK650-W and i have screen tearing when i play PUBG and APEX Legends. I found a way to fix it by turn on the vsync in nvidia control panel 3D settings. Is that normal ? should be the vsync off for better performance and lower input lag ?
