My profile image seems to be missing

AyesC

I have noticed recently that my profile image is no longer appearing as it should be

and is instead displaying the Alt text instead of the actual image itself. I can't remember

how long this has been going on but this has been happening on multiple devices on

different Operating Systems and different browsers & networks. I have tried unlinking

my accounts and relinking them to see that nothing has changed.

I'm getting pretty annoyed now because my OCD can't take it. Can you guys help me

out here? Thanks.

I have attached a screenshot to the post.

Did you upload a photo, or did you use the Import from URL option?

Right clicking on your profile pic and choosing Open Image in New Tab shows that it's attempting to pull from Discord. If your profile photo has changed on Discord's end, either due to yourself uploading a new photo, or Discord simply rotating out the old URL with a new one for whatever reason.

It looks like there are a few issues with profile syncing at the moment, especially from Discord. You probably changed your Discord picture, which has broken the imported picture, and the change hasn't been picked up correctly.

I'm looking into those issues, but the best solution for now is to upload the picture directly to the forum from your profile.

It should now be fixed enough that your picture works again now.

Yes, I think there were some syncing issues as I can now see my profile image. Thanks for the help!

Yeah.  That's why I never synced my forum account with Discord.   I knew that there would be some problem with Discord keeping up with my Linus tech bio info.

Won’t visit often..
