So this is probably the most budget oriented PC I've ever built, and my first all AMD build! I was watching for sales on all the parts, normally I just buy everything right away but since I do not need this rig until the summer I had time on my hands.

The centerpiece is my R7 1700, this is going to be a work PC and the 8 threads + 16 cores have been an absolute beast in heavy workloads. The CPU is coming out of my main system shortly as I will be purchasing a Zen 2 R7 3xxx to go in that system, whether or not the hype is real performance will be higher than my current R7 anyways.

 

The Coolermaster 120mm AIO is perfect, however, as you can see I am going to go for a push/pull setup with two Corsair ML120 fans, I am trying to promote as much airflow as possible and hopefully, the fans being close to the motherboard will mean my VRM's are staying cool. (fingers crossed I can OC a bit)

 

 

Kinda ghetto fan mount location but as I went for a small SFX PSU, so I have the room to mount this 80mm fan to the side of the case, had I gone for a standard ATX PSU this would not be possible. This extra fan will help exhaust air, as the SG13 normally exhausts passively or uses the PSU, but with long hours I want to try and move as much hot air out of the case as possible.

Today was just a dry test to make sure everything fits, I will add a 'Part 2' when I actually complete the system. But I am excited for the completion of my smallest ITX system yet!
