RTX 2080: 3 fan custom vs NZXT G12 - same total price

So...
I plan on getting myself an RTX 2080 for about 750€. For example the Gigabyte 3 fan custom design.

Now while doing my research I figured, that I also could get myself the cheapest 2080 on the market for 650€, install the NZXT G12 and a 120mm radiator on it, automatically OC it and call it a day. This would turn out to be about 750€ as well.
The idea obviously being, that I'd get better performance for the same price...

Any recommendations?

there are also big heatsinks for replacing stock coolers

 

which is better depends on the basis for cooling conversion though
