Cooler Master MH751 or SteelSeries Arctis 3 ??

Hi,

I am in the Market for a sub-$80 Headset, and I have narrowed my selection to these two options:

 

1) Cooler Master MH751

2) SteelSeries Arctis 3

 

Both of them are really great pairs of headsets, but I can't make up my mind on which one to get.

Go with the 1st option.

You should go to micro center or frys and try both and get the feel for them. :)

@191x7 I checked out the HyperX cans, but the mic quality isn't what I want. Sure, they have some of the best noise cancellation on a headset mic, but I need crisp, clear audio.

Then you need a better microphone than on most headsets. But a Lavalier Lapel microphone from eBay might be the right thing - only a few $ but sounds better than any headset microphone. Or some better microphone solution like a BM800 microphone with a Phantom Power plugged into a soundcard.

Actually, I'm just gonna go with the MH752 from Cooler Master, as it is just the MH751 with Software tuning and 7.1

The dac on it is pretty good too for the extra little bit of money
