Hey guys. Do you know any PC cases with this feature?

Just use a USB DVD drive?

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

what an inconvenient place to put a disc drive.

i doubt any case manufactures would put something like that at the back

not sure if any mid tower, full tower or like cases, would even have room. maybe just maybe a full tower. between motherboard and PSU if you cut a spot out.

maybe a case with radiator option with fans on top.

but cdrom/dvd/blue ray drive. they are 5.25" wide. that alone pushes the drives away from the motherboard.

i suppose you might be able to squeeze a drive in side ways. just above the "expansion card slots" on rear of case with some cutting / modding of case. but the cd, dvd, blue ray disc would be falling out of the tray every time you open the tray up. i know they make some drives for such a thing. but never needed to find one.

you could always "drill" and mount an internal drive on top of the case, and run a sata power cord and data cable up to the drive.

all options consider, external drive be way to go.

i am guessing pc is on some sort of test bench?  and needing to run power cable and reset button to back.

but if this is the reason, you might look at "open air" cases or "test bench" cases were everything is in the open ready to go.
