My PCI wifi card breaks my system

Go to solution Solved by emosun,

I'd guess from your description the wifi card died.

Wifi cards can die and a non functional expansion card is capable of locking up a system. Only way to know is try try a different one.

So yesterday evening I came home from school and tried to turn on my computer but it would only seem to be broken and glitch out on the windows "connect"? screen (password entering stage) and it would severely slow down to extremely low framerates. My building is not the best however it is well able to run windows (Aorus B450 Elite Board Ryzen 3 2200g 1050 ti and a SATA M.2 120Gb ssd). I troubleshooted it for a while and it turned out to be that the only fix was to unplug my wifi expansion card (very basic Asus 2.4Ghz module). However the Ethernet in my house being unplugged that was my only access to the Internet. Has anyone had any experience with this problem or have a fix for it?
