hwinfo wrong tj max

I have an x5675 and ML240L and the tj max for the x5675 is 81.3C but hwinfo automatically makes it 96C. When I change the tj max in hwinfo to 81, it changes my core temps to like 9/10C which I highly doubt.

 

Is there something I'm missing here? When the tj max is at 96 my temps seem a bit high. When I set it to 90, my temps seem about where I would assume they'd be... ~30C idle.

 

So is hwinfo using the die's tj max or is it using the tj max at the ihs? Is 96C correct for the x5675? Which one is the 81.3C tj max supposed to be, ihs or die?
