Multiplex 4 1080p HDMI inputs to 1 2160p output.

I have been looking for a device that will take 4 HDMI inputs at 1920 x 1080 and multiplex them into a single 3840 x 2160 output compatible with a 65 inch 4K TV.

 

I have found a number of devices that will take the 4 1080p inputs and turn them into a quadrant view, but for some reason they downscale to 1080p for the output, which is as bad as it sounds.

 

I know the LTT team is in the know about all the cool gadgets out there, and I am hoping you someone can offer some advice on something that will accomplish this task for us.

You are looking for something called an HDMI multiviewer. A 4K one will probably be expensive though.

Thank you, I have been looking at the HDMI multiviewer devices, and even tried one out that looked like it might actually output 3840 x 2160, but no luck, it just resampled the end result down to 1920 x 1080, which seemed like a lot of undesired work.

 

So far I have not found any multiviewers that support 3840 x 2160 output.  Does anyone know of a device that actually supports that resolution output?
