My 4k monitor only running 1080p

My ASUS ROG Swift PG27AQ 4k monitor says it is only running at 1080p at 60hz. I have a Xbox one X and I am trying to enable 4k mode. The xbox says that this monitor is not capable of running 4k at 60 hz but my monitor can. Does anybody know how to fix this and make my monitor run 4k? I have tried going on to the monitor settings.

I usually don't help people who play on console, but hell, I'm bored.

Looking at your monitor on Amazon, it says it has HDMI 1.4. HDMI 1.4 only supports 4k 30hz, and lacks the HDCP necessary for running 4k on the XBox. It is not compatible.

Yep.  That monitor needs DP for 4k/60.
