Gtx 970 underclock

BigDraco47

So  basically since i'm not really playing demanding games anymore (the only game i'm still playing is cs go,which i got it capped at 60fps) i've decided to underclock the gpu in order to get lower temps/power

consumption.

Using msi afterburner i've decreased the core clock and the memory clock by 150mhz each.

Do i need to also decrease the power limit and the core voltage or is this enough to attain the desired result?

decreasing core clock usually just pumps the same power for a lower clock, i'd just lower the power limit

Thanks for the reply,i've lowered the power limit down to 75% and kept the same core/memory settings.

undervolting helps with saving power a lot more significantly, though I believe 9 series can only do that with the help of modded BIOS.
