Bluetooth connectivity options

Hello

I was scrolling through some settings on my phone and noticed a lot of Bluetooth settings I could change. I'm kind of a noob when it comes to this, so could someone help explain?

The Bluetooth audio is very good as it is, I just want to take advantage of these features if possible. 

 

What are the sample sizes exactly for? I changed some of these settings and the audio stops(I presume for ya know changing it) but it reverts back to the old settings on some. I'm assuming this would be due to limitations of the device I'm connected to? 

 

And the codec, is there a better one I should use? I do use Spotify for music on the highest quality they allow for (I download the music to my phone) 

Any others that stick out? I use a Kenwood DDX375BT with Rockford Fosgate speakers and two 12 inch subwoofers.
