Carrier data usage much more than my phone says.

So my phone says I've used 7.1GB of data this month where as my phone company says I've used 8.67GB... that's a 1.5 GB difference!? I know it should be slightly different but It shouldn't be that much different right?

My carrier says ive used 10gb, my phone says 45gb. 45gb is definitely more likely

Well this is the other way around so it's a problem. Yours is a good thing . I use YouTube alot over data but stream it in 240p so it doesn't use that much data. But why is it so inacturate? I mean a couple of hundred out is acceptable but 1.5GB?

Maybe your phone and carrier are calculating from a different start date, I'm not sure to be honest

Nope, my data resets on the 10th of every month. My phone is set to that date. It's really odd.
