Wireless slow charging kills battery faster?

I had a s6 edge used to get charged at work, through a PC USD2.0 to a wireless charge dongle, claims DC5v, 1500mA, but it just provides 0.5A, just slower and not an issue.

I may have forgot to remove it after fully charged for some time.

then battery is dead and I had to replace it & gave it to my parent. Now using s7 edge for half a yr, I noticed battery drain was much faster.

 

is wireless charging killing it?

I would suggest watching this, personally i just use whatever method is the easiest to use at the time

i own an S7 edge myself, 3 years in, have been using it power saving since day 1, but the last 6 months it has degraded faster. i barely get a days worth if i just browse also.

watched that long time ago.. still got different ans from different source. 

when charging with cable, Does phone stop charging when full? some say yes and some say no....

for wireless chargers, I believe that a definite no, since how on earth could it stop its magnetic field.
