Is the Asus vg248qe still worth it for 250$/230€ in 2019?

So I need a 144hz 1ms response time displayport monitor. My budget is ~250$, I stumbled across the vg248qe, wich has all the features. But is it still good because its from around 2014 and are there better alternatives? Thanks in advice;)

Not really. There are much newer monitors which are superior in every way for the same price are cheaper, such as the AOC G2590PX or ViewSonic XG2402, or the AOC C24G1. Depends on prices in your region though.
