Bluetooth PCIE card without WIFI :3

Strangler

Hi there,

Ive been searching the webs dry for information but without luck.

What i am looking for is a PCI-E Bluetooth but without the WIFI part, it is really annoying that they all are a combo card.

This reason i dont want a wifi combo is that i already have a wifi card in my system that i am overly happy with ( TP link Archer T9E ).
Also i would like to add that i know there are USB dongles but this is not what i am looking for as it is not suitable for me for various reasons.

Any help would be appriciated, thank you.

kind regards

Fairly certain the answer is no. You could disable the Wifi part on a combo PCIe card, or if you truly need exclusively Bluetooth and only Bluetooth you could get a PCIe USB card and use a USB Bluetooth dongle.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Unfortunately the only real way to get bluetooth is through a USB dongle or a PCIe card with a combo wifi + bluetooth module.

I think the Dell Bluetooth 370 is a PCI-E card.  In the miniPCI-E format, although there's plenty of adapters available to adapt such to full-size PCI-E.

Tons of them on eBay for cheap, like $3-$5.

Of course, if you go through the trouble to 'adapt' such a card to a full PCI-E slot, you may as well just do a combo miniPCI-E 802.11n (or 802.11ac) + BT 4.0 card anyways.
