Samsung S9 - How to "lock" apps so they can't be force closed?

Hey everyone. I have a brand new S9 that I have updated to the latest patches, however after updating I lost the old fashioned "task switcher" for the iPhone-like Rolodex style "Samsung Finder" task switcher. On my last phone (an S7) I had LineageOS and it had the ability to "lock" apps from being closed accidentally when tapping "close all" however I cannot find this in Finder. Is there an application that will add such support or a setting I can use to disable Finder and move back to the Task Switcher?

Thanks!
