Custom Keyboard Help Required

Looking to replicate the keyboard in the image and cant find a suitable production keyboard that would work. I need a mechanical keyboard that is at least a 15x6 straight grid in order to arrange the custom key-caps like they are on the sample image. Was thinking a custom PCB but cannot find a suitable one either anywhere.

If anyone knows of a suitable keyboard/ custom pcb available please let me know.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers.

What are you going to use it for?

Maybe try the Atomic PCB? It's a ortholinear gird keyboard.
Or maybe a Clueboard Double 1800

Atomic PCB is no longer being made iirc, I looked into that, it's "replaced" by this.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Im going to go with the 15x6 (90 key) keyboard from Access-IS https://www.access-is.com/products/keyboard-90-key

They have a min order of 10 units. If anyone wants one let me know and once there's at least 7-8 people who commit - Ill order 10 and post them out.

Its the keyboard used in the UK and Australian Air Force Pilot Entrance test - CBAT: https://rafcbat.wordpress.com/cbat-equipment-explained/

I didnt score well enough in my first attempt so I'm looking to reverse engineer the test program and equipment before I resit the test in 12 months.

Decided to go with a custom PCB keyboard build to achieve the 15X6 layout wanted. You can remove up to 2 rows and columns from the pcb.

https://keeb.io/collections/frontpage/products/bfo-9000-keyboard-customizable-full-size-split-ortholinear?variant=8116065271914

If anyone finds an Access-IS 90 key keyboard, please still let me know!

Were you able to build the keyboard?  I am looking at building the same thing for the same purpose.  Any advise would be much appreciated.

@Astro2020 @a2828
I never ended up finishing the keyboard but was able to get most of the way with a diy ortholinear pcb. The hardest/ most expensive part is the custom key caps. Found out they were custom made by Signature Plastics LLC (pimpmykeyboard.com) - was quoted $750 usd for the exact set.

see text file for what I was able to find

Keen to get back into it if you guys wanna band up and smash it out together. Have you looked into any of the software/ testing side?

There's a similar set for around 70-120, https://pimpmykeyboard.com/dsa-ruby-pos-super-system-keyset/, It comes with relegendables so you can reassign the legends n stuff

Thats a good shout, thanks mate!
But so expensive - trying to do this on a shoestring budget. A blank set (https://pimpmykeyboard.com/dcs-blank-keysets/) would be more in the right price range

Hey all, interested in getting my hands on one for the same purpose.
I have found this:

https://windowsden.uk/1295254227/cbat

Basically runs you through how to set up the CBAT app on a Pc. Having also done the RAAF test, the app is the closest I have found. Except for the worm/ joystick test, the table reading test and the mathematic comprehension test (house building)
