How about another Ryzen 3000 leak? Just for fun.

More via anandtech, I'm hyped for mobile improvements. Combined with the new open source nature of Thunderbolt (now USB4) we could see some serious market shakeup.

this notebookcheck article has a lot to add

What I find especially useful is that AMD's integrated graphics solution is so much more effective than Intel's and in a laptop, what's all that PCIe gonna go towards anyways? Might as well use x8 for graphics.

Singaporean retailer Bizgram recently published a product catalog featuring some surprising newcomers: the Ryzen 3000 series. These CPUs have not been officially announced yet, although these specific model names have been leaked before.

Quote

More interesting are the CPUs listed, which are identical not only in name but also in the order listed in AdoredTV's leak last year. It's hard to say what's happened here with this listing. Perhaps Bizgram just copied the rumored spec sheet and guessed what pricing would be. Or these CPUs could be authentic, Bizgram accidentally published them in this listing, and AdoredTV's leaked spec sheet is accurate up to model names and prices. Everyone would like for this rumor to be true, but given how little AMD has talked about Ryzen 3000, it's hard to make any sort of judgment at this stage.

What I find unique about this list is how precise and sensible the pricing is for the products. The only parts of these lists I've had doubts about due to the speculative nature is the Navi integrated graphics solution for the G models. Everything else we know about the new Ryzen stuff like what was demoed at CES shows serious promise, and the new efficiency of the Zen 2 microarchitecture will hopefully let up on that tough voltage curve and give overclockers a bit more room. These leaks seem really credible if I'm being honest.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

The 3850X has my sale. 16C/32T is exactly what I need. Was gonna go low end TR, but I was having issues finding a good cooler. Also means I can build ITX, as I wanted :D

Brands I wholeheartedly reccomend (though do have flawed products): Apple, Razer, Corsair, Asus, Gigabyte, bequiet!, Noctua, Fractal, GSkill (RAM only)

I want this to be true very much. I'm glad that it matches AdoredTv's leaks that predicted the 3700X at 5Ghz:

yesyesyesyesss_zpsfertjuji.png

Highly recommend his channel. Excellent analysis of Ryzen 3000 likely specs.

Pricing of this leak is about $50 higher at $379 but even then it would be a killer CPU and for sure my next upgrade.

I am conducting some polls regarding your opinion of large technology companies. I would appreciate your response.

Microsoft Apple Valve Google Facebook Oculus HTC AMD Intel Nvidia

I'm using this data to judge this site's biases so people can post in a more objective way.

I mean this would be awesome. Though I kinda expect prices more in line what we've had with Ryzen in general.

Intel is screwed huehue. Apple ditching intel, AMD crushing intel on desktop and gaining server share.  Intel's FOVEROS stacking wont help them in the server space. I still dont understand their DRAM stacking on chips idea. Maybe those will be low power SOC for laptops and Microsoft stuff, since apple wont use them and neither will desktop people it seems pointless to me.

me wantey

Would be pretty sick to have that many cores on a consumer cpu.

Guess I better start saving up lol.

AMD yo, this is seriously disruptive

I watched a video on that, Apparently the idea is to reduce latency and increase memory bandwidth to allow for super fast computation, which would be a game changer. Right now Intel and Ryzen offer 16MB of cache, thats not a whole lot compared to system RAM. The video was suggesting upwards of a gig of cache.... thats the game changer.

The problem I have with this approach is, even if it works, whats the price gonna be like, Cause I can't see the yield rates being too high. Intel is already known to have yield problems with its 10nm die shrink, while AMD is looking at a launch of Q2-Q3 of its 7nm die shrink. Stacking a bunch of memory on top? yikes. And then there is heat. I can't imagine that its going to do the CPU or memory to have to pass the heat through the memory to the heatsink. Low power, ok. but high end workloads where CPU's can reach 70s-80s, I can't imagine that doing wonders for the memory. And then how long before the chip fails because the memory its shot and keeps crashing the computer.

my initial guess would be Ryzen capping out at 12 cores, but if it's indeed 16 cores, there might be core-count increases for the lowest end Threadripper 3000. a 16c32t TR3000 part costing 700-770 USD would be too easy (also 16 cores over 8 dies? would they go back to spacers over 4 dies? (6 spacers would be too much I think o_o))

In terms of a product stack, I feel like it makes no sense to cannibalize the HEDT line so early in Zen's life, but from a technological standpoint, the dual chiplet space does allow for 16 cores so it would be a waste to artificially reserve core count.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Wait, what? Adored numbers as you link to there was not from a retailer. It was from someone contacted Adored directly, but wanted to be anonymous (he says), most likely from a board partner or AMD itself, but no one knows exept maybe Adored. The eKatalog thing happened AFTER adored leak.

my initial guess would be Ryzen capping out at 12 cores, but if it's indeed 16 cores, there might be core-count increases for the lowest end Threadripper 3000. a 16c32t TR3000 part costing 700-770 USD would be too easy (also 16 cores over 8 dies? would they go back to spacers over 4 dies? (6 spacers would be too much I think o_o))

With the new architecture there is no need to go to 8 Dies, you can do that with whatever you like.

Most likely it would be 4 Dies with 4 Cores each.

Because they have a central I/O Die with the Memory Controllers, SATA and the other stuff to wich you connect the dies to.

And AMD already demonstrated that you don't need all the dies for it to work at CES.

So a 1 Die Threadripper would also be possible :)

But I'd say that they go Threadripper from 16-32 Cores, just like this time.

and if we do go with 6c bits, then it'll be 4x6c (24c48t with 4 spacers), and/or 8x6c (48c96t no spacers) CPUs (which... that number of cores on a "consumer"-side HEDT scares me actually o_o I think AMD wouldn't want to drop-in full 64 cores for threadripper so soon o_o)

If they do 64 core Threadripper, I bet it will definitely come out way later than the other ones.

I'd believe if they point to next year even ._. although 2020 is when development on the AM4 socket would run out (not sure if Jan or Dec ._.), so kinda unsure if TR4 would follow suit or just stay around for one more year

epyc socket sp3 is confirmed to stay the same until zen 3, so threadripper should do the same

USD price numbers once more (not doing import & tax removal estimate, because prices of Ryzen 2000 from Bizgram is quite close o_o except for threadripper though)

note: numbers from eKatalog (a retailer in russia) has been referenced by WCCF and Adored (Ryzen CES release schedule guesses are wrong; Adored's late interpretation change to Ryzen 3000 being monolithic before CES is wrong), so salt it up

EDIT: other way around. Adored got the numbers and the other two picked it up. my bad.

an unnamed 8c16T Ryzen 3000 part was demoed against the 9900K (with MCE enabled; $490-$500 SRP), so if this is an R5 part I'd be mildly surprised actually ._.

my baseless guess would still be on this being an R7 part (AMD can't possibly be splitting the 9900K in two?), but time will tell

current 10th gen intel rumors (super super super casual mention) point to desktop parts holding up to 10 cores, so splitting the difference for all the stacks like 9th gen... kinda checks out for both parties?

Adored originally claimed they would be chiplet based, but then received a further leak, (which other news outlets claimed to have got independently as well), stating it would be monolithic.

Ryzen 5 3600G    8 / 16    Navi (20 CU)    3.2 / 4.0GHz    95W    $224    $199

Not worried about high end ones (cant complain in any way!)

Could Navi (20 CU) (~2x gt1030) catch up  with gtx1050?

"11CU = gt1030 perf"

thats basically a r7 1800x with free great gpu at ~$225/200

What I find unique about this list is how precise and sensible the pricing is for the products. The only parts of these lists I've had doubts about due to the speculative nature is the Navi integrated graphics solution for the G models. Everything else we know about the new Ryzen stuff like what was demoed at CES shows serious promise, and the new efficiency of the Zen 2 microarchitecture will hopefully let up on that tough voltage curve and give overclockers a bit more room. These leaks seem really credible if I'm being honest.

I contacted them about it, and they said it’ll come within 5 weeks. I’m still waiting for a reply about the prices though.

In terms of availability, that's what everyone expected. Mid April is basically right on schedule for and AMD CPU release so far.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

assume they're SRP-based prices. their 9th gen leak was 99%-101% SRP numbers and it's nowhere near that number today, lol

based on 2700x pricing it should be around 5-10% markup from msrp

in this attempt to bring this back on topic: the pricelist also mentions a Zotac GTX 1650TI 4GB at 329SGD o_o that's the price of a 1060 6GB

Seems a bit steep, for 1060 6GB price you probably get 1060 6GB perf, but the 1660 ti and 2060 have show to be better value.
