Not a bad rig, But I have some questions

Why the Hyper 212 When the stock cooler looks cooler and runs the same for free?

What made you get B350?

I have the same board, which is decent.
I have the same RAM, which has given me a ton of problems and nearly bricked my board.

I second @Killstreak, you could have used the stock cooler or gotten a better aftermarket cooler.

I managed to make it work, and didn't have to RMA the board. In the future I'm going to avoid Corsair products in general, not the first time they've left me high and dry.

Basically, I couldn't boot past 2133Mhz with the second slot filled (I have 4x8), I eventually reflashed and reset the BIOS, tried all kinds of configs, and then eventually got it to boot at 2666Mhz. Then set DRAM voltage for 2.5v and DRAM frequency to 3000Mhz and got a POST. Still takes over 15 seconds to clear POST, but my mobo runs and my RAM isn't slow.

That's weird, my cousin have the same RAM and he had never encountered any issue and I didn't know if the stock cooler was to going be enough even tho it has good reviews, besides all of that it's a $1300 gaming pc and it should easily run every game that are being launched this days.

Good choices but ill say you can probably use the cooler that came with the cpu if you want.
