Humble Bundle Youtube Channel is Terminated

xyameax

While browsing through the third party storefront Humble Bundle, where percentages of proceeds go to charity, I came across videos unable to load, and clicking on the video, provides the info that the YouTube channel itself has been terminated.

I can understand why it could potentially be removed, as showcasing games that have copyright material, but it is also their own Website's YouTube to show that it is available on Humble Bundle as well as their own personal Humble Monthly games. I also don't believe these videos were even monetized as well. Any other ideas why Humble Bundle would be terminated from YouTube?

Wow. Definitely terminated, all the videos they use to promote games are down.

Wouldn't really make sense for any of the game publishers to DMCA the videos since they're promoting their product...
I wonder what has happened here.

The only videos that are currently available are from respected companies' channels.

Yep. In screenshot published above the video that has the thumbnail was published on YouTube by the Ubisoft North America official youtube channel. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6eLHk2Eug78)

Everything that was published by the Humble Bundle YouTube channel is down.

I agree. This is probably a copyright - thing again; as far as I understand, copyright claims cannot take a channel down, only copyright strikes can, and copyright strikes are supposed to be a manual thing -- someone went and deliberately sent enough strikes on Humble Bundle's channel to take the whole channel down? Who? Why?
