That can happen occasionally if the cached version of the feed is out of date, and you request it while it's being regenerated. It's not something that can be properly changed I'm afraid.

This isn't the first time the bug has happened. This isn't the only device on which it happened. This is just the first time I'm reporting the issue.

- This is a screenshot from my iPad Air 2 running Google Chrome (Version 72.0.3626.101)

- And this bug happened after I unlocked my iPad, opened a new tab in Chrome, and went straight to the LTT forum

 

The issue has also occured on my desktop PC (running Google Chrome) over the last few months. I don't have an exact statistic but I'd say it happens once out of every hundred times I go onto the main forum page. The issue gets resolved by literally just reloading the page.

Yes, obviously I have.

 

But I don't wanna keep clearing my cache for a stupid bug that gets resolved by just reloading the page.

 

And I don't think this is a cache issue (but I'm not a web developer so idk).

I've used all versions of Firefox released in the past 2 years or so on both Windows 7 and 10, I don't recall having this issue.

Also - been on LTT daily since...September 2018?  Anyhow, never came across this issue, Chrome, Edge, Firefox through Windows 7 Enterprise and Windows 10.

I'm pretty sure it's a problem related to my device, browser, or OS, and not the LTT forum. But I still wanna find out what's causing the issue.

I have had that happen once on my work macbook, using google chrome (a couple updates old I'm sure cause I never restart it because losing incognito tabs sucks). 

No idea what caused it, but hasn't happened more than once with hundreds of site visits

yah i have had it happen in windows 10 using chrome and android using chrome, it can be a little annoying but its fairly rare

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...
