You wanted a long battery life smartphone? Sweet specs? You don't care about extreme thinnest? Energizer (yes) has you covered!

GoodBytes

Energizer, in partnership with the France telecom company Avenir, introduces a new phone at MWC 2019 that targets people who are seeking smartphones that lasts more than a day, and doesn't mind a slightly thicker device as a result.  Powered by a 18,000mAh, USB Type-C, 6.2-inch LCD display, thin bezel, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, fast charging, sleek looks, and claimed to deliver 48h of continuous video playback, this phone is like no other, complete with a lack of notch, and features a pop-up selfie camera, similar to what we have seen from Oppo.

The actual phone manufacture is the French telecom company, Avenir, and are actually licensing the brand name Energizer.

Dub the Energizer Power Max P18K Pop..... (ok, maybe Avenir doesn't have the best marketing team), the phone will be available starting this summer, but pricing is not avail yet.

Quote

This dark blue unit measures in at 18mm of thickness, according to Avenir’s spec sheet, but stacking it side by side with a more conventional smartphone, I’d say a more accurate articulation of its thickness would be about 3.5 iPhones. An epic battery of such proportions had better last a long time, and Avenir promises a week’s worth of use, or two full days, 48 hours, of continuous video playback.

It looks like someone has glued a Raspberry Pi board with a battery and screen, then clumsily attached some plastic on it... I'm not all for aesthetics or anything, but Dayum

Only problem is that you can't take it with you on an air plane, because when the battery blows up it would destroy the whole plane in the tiniest pieces possible.
But the army could use it as a stealth weapon against tanks or so ?

You know, when people say "I wouldn't mind a slightly thicker phone with a battery that lasts 2 days", they dont mean going full fucking brick mode. You could kill someone with this

now I'm all for a thicker phone, because up to a certain point it doesn't matter to me and isn't worth the battery life sacrifices to make it thinner.

But in this case I might as well hot glue a battery bank to my current phone, would not be any thicker.

energizer_unit_vsavov1.jpg

muh specs

Gaming and HTPC (reparations)- ASUS 1080, MSI X99A SLI Plus, 5820k- 4.5GHz @ 1.25v, asetek based 360mm AIO, RM 1000x, 16GB memory, 750D with front USB 2.0 replaced with 3.0  ports, 2 250GB 850 EVOs in Raid 0 (why not, only has games on it), some hard drives

Screens- Acer preditor XB241H (1080p, 144Hz Gsync), LG 1080p ultrawide, (all mounted) directly wired to TV in other room

Stuff- k70 with reds, steel series rival, g13, full desk covering mouse mat

All parts black

Workstation(desk)- 3770k, 970 reference, 16GB of some crucial memory, a motherboard of some kind I don't remember, Micomsoft SC-512N1-L/DVI, CM Storm Trooper (It's got a handle, can you handle that?), 240mm Asetek based AIO, Crucial M550 256GB (upgrade soon), some hard drives, disc drives, and hot swap bays

Screens- 3  ASUS VN248H-P IPS 1080p screens mounted on a stand, some old tv on the wall above it.

Stuff- Epicgear defiant (solderless swappable switches), g600, moutned mic and other stuff.

Laptop docking area- 2 1440p korean monitors mounted, one AHVA matte, one samsung PLS gloss (very annoying, yes). Trashy Razer blackwidow chroma...I mean like the J key doesn't click anymore. I got a model M i use on it to, but its time for a new keyboard. Some edgy Utechsmart mouse similar to g600. Hooked to laptop dock for both of my dell precision laptops. (not only docking area)

Shelf- i7-2600 non-k (has vt-d), 380t, some ASUS sandy itx board, intel quad nic. Currently hosts shared files, setting up as pfsense box in VM. Also acts as spare gaming PC with a 580 or whatever someone brings. Hooked into laptop dock area via usb switch

Also, does this have wireless charging to OTHER devices like samsung and hauwei? This phone actually needs this feature or it's trash. At least charging via usb-c if not wireless
