XMP / D.O.C.P Overclock Issues

Hey guys,

 

I am out of my mind with the issue I am experiencing here. Heres what I have:

 

AMD Ryzen 7 2700X

Asus ROG Crosshair VII HERO (with latest BIOS)

Corsair Vengence RGB PRO (2x8GB, DDR4, 3000MHz C15)

 

Every time I try to overclock the RAM to its advertised speed (3000MHz), the board's Q-Code display shows the code "C8", which doesn't exist in my model's Manual... Then goes on to display "Memory Settings reset because of failure to boot".

 

I've reflashed the BIOS about 3 times, changed memory slots. The works.

 

I've seen other builds with the same set up of parts, and I bought all of this in August of 2018, and I am just trying XMP/DOCP now. Any ideas?

Just give the ram more volts and it will work.

Run it with D.O.C.P. but change it to CL16 then try and see if it will post. You can also try more dram voltage or upping the SOC voltage slightly (.01-.05v)

Sadly none of the setting changes worked. I dont know why it won't accept anything higher. No matter what I do.
