Not a clue, but Google's docs tend to be reasonably not bad for most things.

How can I make my google home say the contents of a GET request?

I saw IFTTT has the ability to have it run an action, but no ability for it to respond with special information, such as the response of a curl request

can I make it do this?

https://ifttt.com/google_assistant

I would have it curl using webhooks, then have it respond with the response.

OFF TOPIC: I suggest every poll from now on to have "**CK EA" option instead of "Other"

I'd lean on the side of no. First problem is I don't think you can have the contents of a web request put into IFTTT, and the second problem is the Google home can't be the target of an action from IFTTT.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

You might be able to get the contents of the web request into something like a Google calendar event and then tell the Home to read the calendar event, but that's clunky and awful.

Is it possible to make google home say something after checking another thing (with webhooks)?

At this point, I was looking into making my own project

It's probably going to have to be done through the Google API instead of IFTTT. IFTTT can't make a Google Home say something directly.
