Looking to Upgrade Gaming Pc, need suggestions

So essentially I built this PC mainly for gaming a while ago, and it seems to be crapping out on me. Constant GPU crashes, PSU failing, CPU struggling to manage stream + gaming workload, so I'm really looking to change essentially the CPU, Mobo, GPU, PSU, and maybe add ram since only 8gb and ddr3, budget I'm not really sure, maybe something around $1k USD, honestly open to most suggestions around that price range maybe even more, depends really. I was thinking a Ryzen 7 2700 + a vega 56, not sure tho what's best option. Here's my current build that I'm trying to upgrade, kinda wanna keep the case and SSD if I can as I'm trying to save as much as possible -

Yeah ryzen will handle simultaneous gaming & streaming much better, if you're looking to pair it with a b450 board the MSI pro carbon is probably the one you want, $95 for a 16GB kit of ddr4 3000MHz team vulcan ram, that leaves a $500 budget to decide if you want to replace the stock cooler and get a gpu... but I'd recommend an rtx 2060 over a vega 56 unless you've found yourself a sweet deal you could even get a 2070 if you stick with the stock cooler (AMD's stock coolers are actually good so it's really an option) here's a quick pcpartpicker list for ya

Hmm would you reccommend getting a 2060 plus a new psu or just adding on a 2070 ? I dont mind using stock cooler tbh.

2060 is just as good (if not better) than vega 56. I would get that just for to be able to play around with RT cores, not that i need it.

My only issue with the 2060 is that its 6gb of vram, which is low no ? Currently running a stock rx480 with 8gb so it seems kind of weird to me, maybe im wrong idk

I think 6gb is enough for now.

As most games still in 3-4gb average vram in 1080p.

Just make sure you get high enough RAM capacity (16 is enough) if you wanna use more than 6gb vram.

If the games uses more than 6gb vram, the rest will be moved to the RAM.

8gb vram is usable today if you play 4k.

Ahh so 2060 should suffice along side 16gb ram ? is there much difference between 2060 and 2070 in terms of performance vs price

that psu should be fine, price to performance the 2060 is better, outright performance the 2070 is better, naturally, probably better suited to 1440p or making sure all AAA titles for the next few years hit 60+ fps

Don't rule out the used market!! You can find some gems! I found myself a i9-9900k for $300!!! (rarity for sure).
