possible to set nic card to vlan?

just wondering, a typical NIC in a laptop/pc, can one set it to vlan 1000 or 3000? my isp fiber uses that for internet

Within windows on a supported NIC, yes. You need to go to Device Manager, find your NIC > Properties > Advanced. Near or at the bottom, you might see VLAN ID. If you do not, that means the NIC does not support it.
