how do you deal with apple fans

So I was getting into an argument with some people on a topic of Samsung vs Apple and I admitted that Samsung had some flaws and some other stuff then when I decided to criticize their precious apple, they completely dismiss it and call Samsung garbage and they said that "I was too lightheaded" or "I won't accept the fact that Apple was better". So what do I say back to them or will you give me any ideas of why Samsung is kinda better than apple

Basically you make your points, LISTEN to theirs and the respond. At the end of the day if they dont wanna listen and discuss in a respectable fashion than just stop responding and move on, dont sweat it. I CAN tell you that referring to them as sheep is a sure way to make sure they dont listen to you at all despite whether you have good points or not. I am a die hard iPhone guy, I find them better than android in all the catagories that are important to ME, but with that said I have had lots of rational discussions with android users that generally end in both sides deciding that there is no "one is better than the other" but more "one is the better than the other based on the individual". These discussions can happen with rational people, and if you find yourself in a discussion that isnt rational than just move on.

But you just answered your own question in the title. Those people that dismiss every brand are the sheep. You can sheer a sheep, but you can never have it stop following you. What I mean is, they will never back down from it, they love it that much. It doesn't matter who's right or wrong here, but rather who can admit when a particular use case will see better use of one over the other. Don't get yourself trapped in arguments like that. Just like politics, no matter what facts you may have, you'll always be wrong. Just walk away while you can.

Yeah, look. I'm the greatest Google fanboi, but I never use the term iSheep cause it's unfair. It doesn't incite discussion and conversation. Do I know Android's better? Heck yea. But there are good things with iOS too, and just because they're there doesn't take anything away from my platform.

you are assuming the opposite party isnt capable of free will, only follow the trend, hence sheep. the more appropriate term would be simply apple user, or an apple user who's not tech savvy. if someone isnt listening, or just dismiss your arguments like hot air, just ignore them. they dont want to talk to you, or too embarassed to be point out their irrational loyalty to certain brand.

 

im a apple hater myself, ive never purchased any apple product, new or second hand. and i too will admit things that apple done right. like android tablet is a joke right now, ipad makes more sense.

People buy phones for different reasons, some would rather pay a premium as a status symbol and others would for customization.

 

I only use 4 apps on my phone anyways, so I prefer something that is common / easy for repair shops to fix when they break.

If the feature set of one doesn't appeal to you, great, buy the other one. Calling apple users isheep is just you being an androidsheep. Fanboying is dumb and childish-- newsflash, nobody cares what phone you use, and even less your opinion about the phone they use.

 

disclaimer: I use both an XR and LG V40, daily, and neither android nor ios is a clear winner. They both have annoying quirks and frustratingly stupid moments.
