Here you can get the newest bios

Unpack the file and use the autoexec.bat

in your c drive thats what they write.

But alot of German Users have that Problem with that medion PC.

Medion is a cheap PC brand.

it says something about a DVD?

What do I need to do once download this new BIOS update? Will I need a CD?

i found something else

1) start pc and hold F11
 2) write: am8888egh   am8888eg(h/c/...)  the last letters aint allways necessary
3: hold STRG+ALT and push the PC OFF button

there is is a possibilty that you can enter an Advanced Bios then and search for any Ram options that restrain you.

i dont recomend the folowing but it is a possiblity i came to an dead end then.

Award WinFlash

AwardBIOS Flash Utility for DOS

i have no experience with them !!

there are alot of 775 boards on ebay for 23 pounds like this

MSI 975 Platinum rev 1.0 socket 775, DDR2, ATX

or

GIGABYTE GA-EP43-DS3L, LGA 775/Socket T

Asus P5K Socket 775 MotherBoard BRAND NEW *Intel P35  35 pounds

it would be a much less headacke solution :D and you can overclock a bit

first option did not work, maybe I did something wrong? I held F11 just put me back on the BIOS menu. And the secound option, well I dont wanna risk. Do you suggest anything else that is not getting a new mobo?
