Looking for new monitor! Suggestions?

coutput

I have 200$ to spend on a new monitor and I'm looking for suggestions.  I'm currently interested in this curved 32" samsung monitor on sale for 189.99$. Is that a good deal or should I get something else?

If you want to game on it you should probably get a 1080p 144hz monitor( but most probably it will be a TN panel so the colours will be wayyy off, so if you use something like Photoshop it is a no no) or you could get a 1440p 60hz monitor

That is a good deal so long as your ok with 60hz.  If your into gaming the 60hz will be nasty.  Also if you are into content creation and design then IPS would be the way to go although not better then a TN or VA in gaming latency and what not.

VA?

It stands for "Vertical alignment" it's a type of display panel, they're cheaper but sometimes have more ghosting than a TN/IPS panel. Also never used a curved monitor but i know a lot of people prefer flat panels (The spectre one you linked is curved)

oh yeah huh; I didn't realize it was curved. I suppose that dell you linked would be good. That Acer has bad reviews
