What do you think about apple? It's overpriced

How would you like them to change? Price and habits

Anything you would like to say about apple vs cheaper phones? Why an apple when you can have a robot

What do you think apple has got a hang of (What are they best at?) Taking average user's money and actually convincing them that it's worth it

-I think apple is okay. I personally wouldn't use their products because there are things that exceed my needs for much less money, but I also think apple products have a purpose and a target audience that just isn't me.

-I'd like them to change their ridiculous pricing (imo) and be a lot more friendly to repair.

-I think there are plenty of cheaper phones that are way better than Apple's phones, and I think it's better that Android phones have so much variety. Need a cheapo phone that you'll use really just for really basic stuff? ZTE Maven 3 is like 50 dollars. Want something with absolutely insane battery life? Ulefone Power 5.

-I think apple is (usually) good at aesthetic design (although they shouldn't do stuff like sacrificing performance, cough cough, MACBOOK PRO 2018). Of course there are bad things they've done design-wise (notch, headphone jack, etc), I still like the look of a iMac and the macbooks.

Apple is mostly a status symbol, in the same way expensive branded clothing is. This is going mostly by eastern european standards (where I live), where a good iphone costs as much as 2 to 2.5 monthly paychecks for many people.

Ryzen 1600x @4GHz

Asus GTX 1070 8GB @1900MHz

16 GB HyperX DDR4 @3000MHz

Asus Prime X370 Pro

Samsung 860 EVO 500GB

Noctua NH-U14S

Seasonic M12II 620W

What do you think about apple?

Apple doesn't think.

How would you like them to change?

I'd like them to go out of business and stop support of all their shit.

Anything you would like to say about apple vs cheaper phones?

What can your 800 quid iOS device do that a 250 quid one can't?

What do you think apple has got a hang of (What are they best at?)

Their chassis are honestly the best looking. Always was tempting to buy a Macbook and throw Windows on it, but that's way too overpriced just for a pretty shiny thing.

There's always more to be said, but I decided to just keep it to the prompts. Cheers.

What do you think about apple?

I have and use a fair share of Apple products, and to be honest (some) of their products aren't priced exorbitantly more expensive than its counterparts (e.g. MBP vs Surface Laptop/Razer Blade Stealth), but I respect their communication and support to customers.

How would you like them to change?

A price drop would be nice, but that's not realistic; people buy their products now so why would they lower the price. What they can do is continue to actually innovate and possibly keep their prices as they are. I own a MBA 2018 and I am terrified of my keyboard breaking one day, but alas I aspire to code iOS apps so that's the road I have to go. But back to topic, the iPhone XS was a bit of a flop, and the keyboards on their laptops are still god awful. The MBP basically hasn't changed since 2016.

Edit while writing last answer: Also better repairability.

Anything you would like to say about apple vs cheaper phones?

Apple will never be able to compete versus cheaper phones, but neither will any flagship phones. You can compare the Pocophone against any android flagship phone and it will beat it in price/performance, but what Apple, and other flagship companies offer, is support. Support in updates, as well as warranty. They have a brand, and if that brand is tarnished by poor support people will stop buying their products, while Chinese products are Chinese products.

If you're talking about mid-range, like OP6T, then I don't have anything to say. That phone is a beast and I would probably trade my iPhone X for it. (Even over a Pixel 3 because I can't really stand the screen).

What do you think apple has got a hang of (What are they best at?)

Support and communication. People "hang out" in Apple stores because of the environment. But more importantly their support. There are many stories of people having issues with their devices and Apple just giving them new ones. Sure their products are pretty closed off repair wise (actually my biggest gripe), but at least I don't have to go through awful support like my friend with a Lenovo THINKPAD (business class laptops, basically broken OOB and took 1 month to get back). Mind you Apple isn't perfect (see Snazzylabs iMac Pro), but it's definitely one of the best.

1- Overpriced CONSIDERING the quality of materials, lack of functions vs other products, ripoff tech services, etc

2- Stop taking advantage of unaware or dumb users but hey that can't be since that's how capitalism is

3- Both iOS and Android suck and spy on people, I wouldn't get any

4- Ripping off lmao

What do you think about apple?
I like apples but they give me really bad headaches if I eat too much of them. Makes me sad.

How would you like them to change?

I'd like them to stop giving me headaches so I can enjoy them more often. Am I like fucking allergic or something? It's a forbidden fruit for me. I can enjoy some apple shit but I'll have a miserable few hours after. Change that.

Anything you would like to say about apple vs cheaper phones?

I already have a cheaper phone so I'd take an apple.

What do you think apple has got a hang of (What are they best at?)

I think apple sauce is where it's at. I also really like dehydrated apples. But they're best at making sauce.

As longs as the Apple™ is still within warranty you can it replaced if you can prove that it did not keep a doctor away.

I have no fucking idea. Like no other reaction, just headaches proportional the amount I ate. Concentrated stuff like sauce or juice is worse.

What do you think about apple?

I'm still fully vested in the ecosystem and devices, though my favor has been lapsing lately. There's a small but growing hole in the market for products that just work; there is a huge opportunity for somebody to fill this hole as a new underdog but I have yet to see a company thats got it.

How would you like them to change?

Tighten ship, refocus their vision, essentially return to their mid to late 2000's form. There has been increasing quality issues, particularly in terms in software. IMO they've become bloated and have lost the vision and brutal enforcement that Jobs provided. I'd rather have a quality major OS update every 2-3 yrs (like they used to do) than a half-baked update annually.

Anything you would like to say about apple vs cheaper phones?

Anything that is not a 'flagship' phone is not even worth comparing to an iPhone in terms of overall experience

What do you think apple has got a hang of (What are they best at?)

Making an ecosystem of high quality products, user security and privacy, curated and unified software marketplace, enforcing their will on consumers in order to fulfill their vision (seriously, I support this)

I'm starting to really get annoyed with their anti consumer practices of late.  I don't begrudge a company making their own product their own way, but somethings become more of a money trap and unnecessarily so.   By locking all apple device to the app store you can't change to another brand of phone unless you want to cut your losses on purchases already made,  by certain design limitations and pricing fixing for repairs they push harder for you to buy a new device rather than allow people to repair their own device.

Grammar and spelling is not indicative of intelligence/knowledge.  Not having the same opinion does not always mean lack of understanding.

So what do you use then? Windows Phone, Old Nokia? I’m assuming that you use Windows and that’s worse than Apple and about equal to Android in terms of privacy.
