That just when I was planning my B450 purchase (and full machine), it might not be compatible with 3000 series....

Though it looks like FUD.

 

From what we know so far is that 8 Cores will work, if you get a BIOS Update for the Board.

12 and 16 Cores might not due to possible higher TDP.

Sorry, forgot to answer this one...Oki, then it seems pretty fine to me. Even the 8 cores is a ton for my current situation (4c/8t, 1st gen i7) and whether if I get now a 1700 or 2600. Thx.
