Noise Cancelling Monitor? How Even??

James

Buy Aorus Monitor on Amazon: http://geni.us/BtcwE

The Aorus AD27QD is Gigabyte’s first monitor and it’s aimed specifically at gamers with 2560 x 1440 QHD resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and FreeSync (which is also Gsync now?). Plus VESA Display HDR 400 certification!

Interesting, I was in the market for a 144Hz 1440p monitor, and I do like gigabyte stuff quite a bit, so I'll have to see if this is the right monitor for me.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Whoa, this is the first time I've heard about this "low framerate compensation" being used to get freesync monitors down to gsync framerates. I'd love to hear more about this, perhaps a comparison between that and a typical gsync monitor.

Unfortunately I think that the logic required in the monitor itself for that is gonna push prices out more towards gsync monitor territory, albeit without licensing fees.

Also, it sounds like this was a review sample (or I might have missed the part clarifying if it was/was not). Part of me is skeptical of the exceptionally good color accuracy without knowing it was bought from a retailer, preferably not from the very first batch of shipments. Say, isn't one of LTT's new sponsors a retailer that sells monitors?

I wish these monitors didn't cost almost as much as a damn GPU.

Ya think that's bad? Have you seen the prices of the new SAS RAID HBA adapters? Especially from Adaptec/Microsemi...

Hey guys! I'm looking forward this monitor as prices are lowering.

Did you were able to produce a Display Profile while testing it with the CaiMAN software?

Thanks a lot ;)
