Hi all,

As the above title, I would like to know if i can output a 1366x768 res laptop to a 1920x1080 res monitor. Isit possible?

As long as the laptop's graphics can support it, yes I believe it could output at 1080p, even if the laptop screen itself is only 1366x768.

Please, take everything I say with a grain of salt. I'm not a professional, just a moderately knowledgeable nerd.

If the laptop has a display output (HDMI, Mini-DisplayPort, even VGA) then yes. The laptop's internal resolution does affect the resolution of an attached monitor.
