POLL: Which do you prefer; Apex Legends, Fortnite, PUBG or Blackout?

36 members have voted

  1. 1. Out of these Battle Royale games, which do you prefer the most?

    • Apex Legends
    • Fortnite
    • Playerunknown's Battlegrounds
    • Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 (For the Blackout mode exclusively)
    • OTHER BR GAME (I have tried all 4 but still prefer OTHER BR GAME)

Only vote if you have played/tried all 4 games, so to not skew the results - They are all 'ok' games, so you should at least try them each if you haven't already.

I'm just curious to everyone's opinion on Apex Legends. I personally think it is a great game and i didn't even know about the game until a week ago. I wasn't anticipating any hype but love the way the game plays.

Apexxxx.png

Furthermore, the game has constantly been above Fortnite on Twitch recently (until today 😢) in terms of viewers. A lot of the big streamers have also moved from Fornite to Apex Legends even after their paid promotional period. Shroud, Ninja, DrDisrespect and Summit1g to name a few.

However, i have noticed that on social media posts, there seems to be the occasional classic 'hater' that says the game sucks without probably even playing it.

Nevertheless, what do you think about Apex Legends? Has it risen to NO.1 as your favorite Battle Royale game or do you think it is just new-game hype?

(Note: I know other BR games exist like Realm Royale or ROE etc, but only included the main 4 due to size of audience. If you don't like any BR games, then fair enough.)

I personally quite like Ring of Elysium, its only problem is optimization. And bugs, obviously.

I think ROE is a great BR game. So underrated! Still, i feel like something is missing from it though.

Sure i can; why though?

There is no wrong answer. If someone prefers Fornite or X etc, then that's great! I can understand why someone would like any of them as their fav :)

Mate if you're worried about getting judged for what games you play by some rando on the internet, you shouldn't be on the internet in the first place.

I was thinking about adding that option but you never know; a BR could get released and it may be your favourite game!

Plus, it's not which BR game you like the most as your favorite game, but which BR game you prefer over the 4 others. Hence, you could still play all 4 and put them in preferential order.

Congrats, but the point still stands. Being worried about being judged for playing a game is incredibly stupid.

Yeah i understand where you are coming from but i can also understand why some peeps would prefer to remain anonymous.

Maybe less so for games but lets say your favorite show was My Little Pony or your favorite hobby was collecting sexy anime figures. It is the internet meaning anyone can find out that information if you post it online (Albeit unlikely anyone will be browsing an LTT forum to see if you like Fortnite 😂).

Some people may be embarrassed to like X. Of course as you get older, you realize that the only opinion that matters is your own, but still, i know that i wouldn't want some people to know that i used to be a Yu-Gi-Oh Collectible Card Game regional champion in the UK and played across the world, lol,

None of the above. Haven't played any either. I play WOT and even though I mostly don't like this pos I don't want to lose many years of progress and tons of money invested.

I've always loved watching World of Tanks and Warships but I hate playing them for some reason; probably because I suck lol

I played all the mentioned BR and even some BR mods in other games like Arma for example.

Apex is by far the best BR (for me). I loved old arena shooters like Unreal Tournament and this reminds me of it on a much bigger scale.

I haven't been addicted to a game for years, I just can't stop playing this one.

It's just work, eat, Apex, sleep cycle since it released.

Why do so many people like apex more?

Apex gets the little stuff right. Looting, pinging, quickly getting in to games... Gameplay feels less like a chore to play. Never feels like "running simulator 2019" trying to get to the zone. Not flooded by 8 year olds. No stupid build mechanic. As Jensen would say "it just works".

I think that battle royales suck in general, but Apex is definitely one of the more enjoyable ones. It doesn't have stupid building, but it isn't made out of models straight from Unity store either. It has something unique, the characters actually have voice lines, which gives them a personality. Also, it's free unlike PUBG. First person too.

Apex Legends is really good. I would probably play it regularly, if not for the awful bugs that cause it to crash on me all the time.

The reason I don't like Fortnite is because of the building. It just doesn't appeal to me.

I never played PUBG, but I played H1Z1, and it's about the same thing. Spent about 5h in it before I got bored.

I also never played Blackout. Screw paying for Call of Duty.

Honestly COD advanced warfare single player is better then the Black Ops series.  As for war games Im not into it,  I could care less about BF5 or PUBG.  IMO Quake Champions blow all these games away, but then again Fortnite is a kids game.  Q has lots of gore and blood not good for kids aged 13 in this society we live in now.
