Mechanical Keyboard

I never used a mechanical keyboard. Currently, I am using Logitech K120 normal membrane keyboard. I am confused, should I really consider to buy a mechanical keyboard? Mostly I do gaming and little bit typing. I saw many videos on mechanical keyboards and those seduce me a little bit. But, is it really worth to consider a mechanical keyboard over a membrane keyboard.

 

If yes, then consider my budget choice- Redragon K552.

go to a retail store, and type on mechanical keyboards with your own hands. If you don't like them, then it's not for you.

Mechanical Keyboard is more satisfiying to use, but if you prefer silent keyboard, don't use it.

Even the most silent mec keyboards are louder than membrane.

 

If you're a sloppy user, don't use mec keyboards as most of them are not spill proof.

Most membrane keyboards can be quickly salvaged from spillage.

A membrane doesnt make a keyboard silent

there is almost no reason other than cost to opt for a switch on membrane over a switch over pcb. Zilents are a mechanical switch which are mounted on pcbs. and they're more silent than acer switches or model m buckling spring switches which use a capacitive membrane.
