Posted February 17, 2019 Hey. So I'm going on holiday and like an idiot I forgot to pick up my Surface Pro 3 charger. I'm willing to buy a new charger but considering I'll only need it for a week, I don't want to pay an extortionate price for one. I saw the Surface Go charger is rated at 24w while I believe the Surface Pro 3 is rated at 36. Will the Surface Go charger work with my Surface Pro 3? I'm ok with the slower charging times that it will bring, as I'll be charging it overnight. I need to know though if it will damage my Surface. Will it flat out not work or slowly fry my Surface? I'll only be using for a week. Please help quick as I need my Surface this week and I don't have a charger. Thanks.
