You're adding an additional connector and added cable length.  This adds resistance.  This resistance causes votages to drop.  Cable extensions are bad.

 

Hey how about EVGA Powerlink is that bad too wanted to use it to have a cleaner looks pls let me know.

Fine since it's using a PCB and not wires which is less resistance.
