Never won a giveaway before.  Just got a drone from the IBM giveaway from like 3 and a half months ago lol. Finally came in today.  Since my new house is pretty bare I'm going to have a good time flying it around. 

Also just wanted to say thanks to Linus for showing me unraid. Currently got it running a living room VR windows VM and emby media server using a Linux docker.

You won a drone? Might as well have been nothing. Fun for 5 minutes, then you realize it's just a useless toy and is essentially illegal to fly in most places, even more so if you live anywhere near a airport.

I have a DJI Tello Drone (I bought it, didn't win it in the IBM giveaway) and it's pretty fun to fly. The battery lasts ~15 minutes and it has a half decent camera.

 

And most people don't mind if you fly it in a public park or your backyard (and I'm pretty sure it's legal to fly a small drone in a public park).

 

For the OP: It's pretty fun to fly despite what others may say. It can even do mid-air flips and automatically land once battery is low. Have fun!
