Nvidia sheild not turning on

So last night I decided to put my Nividia sheild on the charger over night not realizing it was right next to my cupholder(that was aparently lose) in the middle of the night I wake up feeling all wet and realize my cupholder fell out of the wall holding coke too tired to think straight I tried to turn on my nvidia sheild. It didn't do anything tried again nothing so I try a hard reset and it starts smelling like something's burning. I then proceed to freak out and tell my mom that my Christmas present seems to already be ruined.

I tried to put it on the charger the light does go on

I'm trying to open it up now

Dude. If it smells like its burning its broken. Plain and simple.
