What would you do if you won?

I was watching an old SGDQ stream and it's always cool to see the rewards for donating on the screen, and one of the more eye catching ones is the Area 51 PC with a Threadripper (I think) and 3 Founders Edition graphics cards. It would be pretty awesome to win something so cool, but if I did, I'd more than likely end up selling it at like 2/3 the retail price (or maybe just donating it to my local gamer in need?). Sort of wondering if anyone else feels the same way, or would you replace your personal rig? I feel like my rig is exactly what I envisioned my perfect PC to be so there would be no reason to use an Alienware PC instead, it lacks the soul of my custom PC.

Unless it was something like a Ryzen 7 based system with a Vega FE, I'd probably sell it. I might take some parts from it like fans and storage, but I love my 11 year old i7 and shitty 7 year old GPU.

I'd probably end up pawning it off to upgrade my personal rig. If for no other reason than I really don't like the look of the Area 51 case.

I would keep it, and if I couldn't find a use for it I'd sell it.

I'd absolutely sell that behemoth and build a nice 9700K/2070 rig in the Node 202 with that sweet sweet SSD-only storage.

I’d sell it and make a rig that will actually be something I will need. Like a ryzen 5 2600, rtx 2080ti, 16gb 3200mhz Ram, and m.2 storage.

 

then build a twitch/ YouTube setup

 

and use the rest for advertising my YouTube and twitch

Sell it to build a rig I'd actually use.  Been eying an X299 ITX build for a while...

Sell it to upgrade my personal rig to something I'd actually use. And maybe buy a PS4 for Kingdom Hearts 3.

First I'd take a picture of it with my 8 year old nephew playing World of Tanks on it and post it on Facebook then sell the units for parts and upgrade my first pc

i'd probably dismantle it, and put the parts in my 4U rackmount case. then it would go F@H untill it breaks! i'd just sell the area 51 case tough, that thing is hideous.

pick clean all the parts that would be an upgrade over my current parts, then sell whatever's left along with the old parts i had.

If I was still working I would use it as a CPU/GPU rendering box.

I'd probably use it for gaming and 3D rendering, anything would be a welcome upgrade for my current rig

Sell it at 90% the original price and build a custom rig with similar specs. I'd probably end up with a better pc and some money in my pocket.
