Ryzen 2700x Build - Motherboard + Ram suggestions?

Hey all -

I have decided to pull the trigger and finally update my old fx8350 build. I'm planning to get a 2700x but I haven't decided yet what motherboard to get.

I currently have a pair of Corsair Vengeance rgb pro (2x8gb / 3200) so the mobo needs to also be compatible with that RAM.

I'm looking to spend about 200$ on the motherboard

Any suggestions? What do you all think about the Asus ROG Strix X-470f? Will it be compatible with the corsair vengeance pros?

Thanks!

Get the MSI Pro Carbon if you want compatibility with the Corsair Vengeance Pro RGB.

Are there major compatibility issues with the Vengeance pro rgb's in general? I'm kinda regretting buying those

I don't know, I'm just going based off what Corsairs site says and it lists Mystic Light as compatible..I like ICUE anyway, so it's really up to you..

When you say compatible do you mean you wanna use one program for all RGB or just asking if it will work with icue

Actually - I'm not even worried about the RGB - I'm just asking about the compatibility as the ram itself. As memory

Oh, then you're straight gucci. Most RAM is fine nowadays.
