Ok so it has been 4 months or something like that that I got CS:GO for free and started playing.  Gosh I kept it after install cuz I liked the weapons and soo many different weapons and the feel was good, however multiplayer sux one hit and you die,,,, a real game would do one hit to leg ouch,, not go down, another to arm,, still don't go down then one to the chest or forehead and bust his forehead open or in the chest.  Also the graphics soo are freakin dated the blood sux no gore no cool way of dying.  So today I pruned it from my steam ,,,,,, felt soo good....... gay ass games.......... best game is Quake Champions for multiplayer...... the characters the graphics the feel, and characters , build up , loot ,, shaders special abilities,, lots of blood and gore,,,, only people that play this game are old skoolers who played the first quake and second and third,,,, Rest of the crowd is with fortnite and bf or cod which is better then bf in my opinion.  Thanks

Almost like it's a game that came out in 2012 using the Source engine... And the whole one-shot-kill-to-any-body-part thing... No. Just no.

The game actually looks much nicer then what it did a couple years ago. The textures are actually HD now

Because porting it to DX11 would do nothing beneficial for it and cost a lot of time and money for a dated game. To fully benefit from the features of DX11 or DX12 the game would need to basically be re written from the ground up and that's a huge waste of resources for a game like CSGO

No sh*T mr. T thats crazy.. I didn't know this I thought porting was sorta easy.  Man I dont know with all the sucess why don't they release CS:GO 2 .... and blow us away with graphics and game play.  Why sit on it for 10 years,, lol it updates too left and right but DX9 is just not cool at all.

There’s a very high skill ceiling that’s been built for nearly 20 years. Recoil control, bunny hopping & surfing being the main 3 for an individual.

DX9 is fine. Works & doesn’t look that bad. Also the game isn’t meant to look stellar. Mostly just run on as many PCs as possible to... sell skins
