$550 used/discounted parts budget build - WOW! - 980ti & 1700x

I am currently endeavoring in building gaming computers from used/discounted parts found off of Ebay, Craigslist, Facebook marketplace, etc. with the goal of getting an above-decent performance, at a discounted price - to sell them for a small profit, and allow others to enter the PC gaming realm fairly cheap and get a decent build.

I will post photos below of the recent build I am doing; a Red & Black themed mid-tower to match the red & black theme of the Asus Strix 980ti.

Parts List:

Mobo: Asus B350m-e ........................................................................... $29.99 (discounted new @ Microcenter for combo'ing w/ cpu)
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1700x .................................................................... $149.99 (new, on sale @ Microcenter)
RAM: 8gb (2x4gb) Ballistix Sport DDR4-2400 ....................................... $37.50 (used off Craigslist - 16gb (4x4gb) for $75 total)
GPU: Asus Strix 980 ti .......................................................................... $200.00 (found on Craigslist)
PSU: EVGA G2 Supernova 650w ............................................................ $40.00 (found on Craigslist)
SSD: Samsung 860 500gb .................................................................... $0.00 (got free from work, new)
Cool: Hyper 212 EVo ............................................................................ $29.99 (new at Microcenter)
Case: Coolermaster Masterbox Lite 3.1 ................................................ $39.99 (new at Microcenter)
Fans: Coolermaster Master Fan Pro 120mm x3 w/ RGB controller ......... $38.95 (used off Amazon)

 Total: $566.41

And I am hoping to sell it for $800 for a decent little profit - I think it's worth it, 100% - but to be honest I kind of fell in love with it. These are really some high quality parts for a killer price - I even think I could maybe sell it for closer to $1000.00 LOL but we will see!

What do you think I could reasonably ask for it? My experience thus far with selling on Craigslist, Facebook, etc - is that people love to low ball or offer trades for ridiculous things. My last build, an i5-7600k w/ 8gb RAM & a 1060-6gb - I ended up trading for a Taco Bell edition Platinum Xbox 1 X, very rare - with controller and plus $150 - which was fair - but I won't keep trading, especially for this bad boy.

Anyway - any input would be welcomed.

PS - excuse the mess of cables! This is currently being tweaked and modded, haven't finalized cable management yet!!!

@mxk. yeah you know, I heard these cpu's run better with faster RAM

I think there is still room in the budget for some 3000 or 3200 mhz RAM, if I can get a decent deal on 16gb for under $100

I have been keeping my eye out for it, and I would just throw this RAM in the next build, as I have two more 980ti's just sitting here ready to go LOL

the ram pricing is easily the best deal (aside from free SSD). Hopefully you can squeeze an OC out of it

however, that combo of mobo and CPU is questionable

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k (won) - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Kill Trident Z RGB - Force MP500 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - The venerated Hyper 212 Evo (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G2 650W - Black and green theme, Razer branwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

Linux Proliant ML150 G6:

Dual Xeon X5560 - 24GB ECC DDR3 - GTX 750 TI - old Seagate 1.5TB HDD - Dark moded Ubuntu (and Win7, cuz why not)

Yeah, well I needed a mATX for the case, and the price & color scheme on both is really what did it for me.

I know there are more preferable B350 boards out there and I have an Asus B350-F Gaming lined up for $60 new tomorrow, to pair with this Ryzen 5 2600 & 980ti I have sitting here for the next build
