Posted February 11 Op i wouldn't opt for the 1300x, i would save a little money and go for a 2600 at least, then just save money by just using the stock cooler Current Build Spoiler System CPU Ryzen 2700x Motherboard ASrock x470 Fatal1ty k4 RAM 16GB GPU EVGA RTX 2080 Ti Black Case Corsair 570x Storage 480gb SSD PSU Thermaltake Smart M 650W 80+ Bronze Display(s) 27 inch Dell S2716DG Cooling Wraith Prism Keyboard Razer Huntsman Mouse Corsair M65 pro Sound Beyerdynamic dt770 Operating System Windows
Posted February 11 I think you are spending too much on gimmicks like USB LED Strip Light, liquid cooler for that CPU (wtf?), extra case fan (for what? nothing in this pc creates much hot air) and Silverstone SST-ES02-USB remote switch kit. I know some do not count a wireless keyboard ($130 wtf) gimmick but I do. Why would you ever buy windows 10 for $100 when you can get it OEM keys from key sellers and eBay legally for $10 bucks? I bought multiple office and windows keys from eBay and they are still working without any problem years later. I think you could save some money and invest in better cpu/ gpu because you will get more value out of it than otherwise.
Posted February 11 the 1050ti is a mistake imo - a 470 is priced similarly and outperforms it by a long shot. I also agree with the earlier opinion of going for the 2600 over the 1300x. You could get a 1060 6gb, but more vram is also a plus. I also gave you a slightly higher PSU over the 450w. Probably won't need this much, but uh still. Also, the 2200g performs roughly the same as a 1300x, but costs less. Oh right, I also added slightly faster RAM. I mean you can still go 16 if it's needed. You might need a beefier cooler if you plan to up to a Zen 2 CPU, but the Tomahawk can probably handle a zen 2 5, maybe 7.
