is it safe to use splitter for case fans in one single header?

You can do 4, or more depending on the total amps being pulled from the header.  TYPICALLY (each mobo can be different) fan headers are rated at .8-1.2 amps.  So 1.0 amps is safe to assume imho.

 

Most fans in PC cases (almost = but its easier to google to be sure) take up to .25 amps.

I ran two Corsair (non led) 120MM with a splitter off one header no problem.

Beyond that, you might consider a powered fan splitter. It will have either molex or sata power and only use a fan header for the speeds.

Doesn't really matter. You won't hit safety current and even with two fans running at safety current, you are still well within spec for the MB connector. Go ahead and use a splitter.

cant find that in shops , looks like to import from China :D

No, just go with the splitter for now.Should be more than sufficient. If you decide to add more fan then use the hub.

yes i have connected two fans by a sleeved cable splitter in one header i.e in Chassis fan header.

 

it runs fine , i can control speed in both fans.

I have four 120mm fans (3 with led and 1 rgb) out of a single connector with a splitter on a H310 board, no problemo.

i7 10700k @ 5.05 Ghz

Corsair H100i pro XT 240mm

MSI z490 tomahawk

16 Gb (2 x 8 GB) Patriot Viper Steel - 4000mhz - 16-16-16-34

I only run 3 fans per header, I use a sata or molex powered splitter for my 10 fan splitter.

yes, four fans on a single connector using a splitter.
