GPU failing under load after building liquid loop

As said in title, for some reason my GPU fails as soon as there is high load. Trying to Fold with default clocks for example fails.

I am using fresh made loop and temps are fine, sitting around 40 C however I am not sure how much are GPU VRM temps and if Thermaltakes GPU extender could cause this.

Any ideas?

Actual details could help. Parts used and such. But if it worked fine before and doesn't now, its something you did. Improper install perhaps.

Was going to sleep at the time of writing and hoped that someone would hit me up with similar problem and the way they fixed it. Will provide additional info as soon as I finish work. My unprofessional guess is that I either didn't cover vrms correctly and they are overheating or the extender is malfunctioning or I damaged it. Will have to inspect and revert back.

The build is:

Case: Carbide Series SPEC-OMEGA RGB Mid-Tower

Mobo: Z370 AORUS Gaming 7 (rev. 1.0)

CPU: Intel® Core™ i7-8700K Processor

GPU: Aorus 1080 Ti

RAM: VENGEANCE® RGB PRO 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3200MHz

Fans: 5x LL120 RGB 120mm

SSD: Samsung Evo 970 1TB

HDD: WD Red Pro 10TB

Gpu was working perfectly fine with stock coolers apart from some coil whine that can still be heard.

I am using full EKWB custom hardline loop and GPU is connected vertically with Therlmaltake Premium 3.0 pcie extender.

I've made a mistake of not trying the extender before building the full loop so there is a possibility that it is making problems.

Apart from that, the only thing that I changed is that I vertically mounted it by cutting the grill on the back and directly mounted GPU to it, but I do no think that could cause any problems. Also, I will provide a few pictures so you may see how it looks like.

Additionally, when put to 50-65% power limit on gpu msi afterburner, folding works perfectly above 65% it fails.
