Just gaming pc build

Which cpu should I get? 

I plan to o use it for gaming, browsing and game emulator, 

Games I'll be playing :

Battlefield 3,4,5, Assassin creed origins, Smite, Overwatch, World of tank, Rocket league and F1

Emulate : ps 2, NES, SNES, neo geo, sega/sega md

My options :

I5 8400 - $148.69

I5 8600 - $179.99

R7 1700 - $159.99

R5 2600 - $164.99

I'll be pairing it with a gigabyte aorus RTX 2070 8gb

They all perform pretty much the same, but you'll loose some cores and no hyperthreading in i5.

I will take 2600.

if it's a gaming build, imma have to go with either i5 8600 or r5 2600. i5 8400, while i don't think bottlenecks a 2070 even at 1080p, might be worse for cpu intensive games

Personally i'd choose the R5 2600. While it might lose to i5 8600 in games (not by much), it provides a better upgrade path.
